During an agenda in Curitiba this Tuesday, the 30th, the mayor of Arapongas, Sérgio Onofre, met with the president of Sanepar, Claudio Stabile, and the commercial director Toco Zanetti. The opportunity formalized the transfer of R$1,532,000.00 to Arapongas, to be invested in expanding the Sanitary Sewage System at the Elderly Condominium. The project is being built in the Cidade Jardim neighborhood – with 60% of the work completed. In Arapongas, the Paraná government project will have 40 homes for people aged 60 and over. The 40 semi-detached houses are fully adapted to the needs of future residents. Mayor Sérgio Onofre celebrated the new achievement that will strengthen the care network for the elderly. “It is an extremely important project for our municipality. The release of resources enhances the work, contributing to the final result of bringing well-being and dignity to our elderly. Sanepar is now a municipalist and has helped us”, emphasizes Onofre. According to Sanepar, after the release of resources, the installation of the sewage network is expected to be completed by October this year. The project covers 2,465.13 meters. Also according to Sanepar, the work should generate eight direct jobs and 32 indirect jobs. “These are measures that favor the growth of the city and the well-being of the population”, adds Stabile.
THE CONDOMINIUM
The development will also have an Elderly Community Center (CCI), leisure area, private parking, security guard and other spaces. The investment is R$6 million – coming from the Government of Paraná. The Elderly Condominium has properties built in the format of a closed horizontal condominium, with complete leisure infrastructure, community square, library, computer room, outdoor gym, community garden, party room and games kiosks. The condominium also takes into account aspects of environmental sustainability, such as solar energy capture systems, rainwater capture and artesian wells.
In addition to the age criterion (over 60 years old), applicants must have proven income of one to six minimum wages, which can be added in the case of couples. In addition to the age and income classification criteria, there will be priority service for elderly people living in risk areas or unsuitable locations, with lower income or who pay expensive rent.
