Seduc visits new school Isaac Quirino Teixeira

With the presence of the press, the City of Juazeiro do Norte, through the Department of Education, carried out this Wednesday, 24th, a guided visit to the new municipal school Isaac Quirino Teixeira.

The building, built entirely with its own resources by the Educa Juazeiro Program, will be inaugurated this Thursday, 25th, at 4pm.

The new unit is located in Conjunto Padre Cícero, in the Monsenhor Murilo de Sá Barreto neighborhood.

The visit was led by Mayor Glêdson Bezerra, accompanied by the Secretary of Education, Márcia Franca, and the Seduc engineering team.

During the event, professionals were able to see the structure of the school, its spaces and receive information about its construction and operation.

The school will serve students from Early Childhood Education, from the age of 3, through to Elementary School – Final Years.

The infrastructure has 12 classrooms, a sports court, computer, art and science laboratories, as well as an auditorium, large cafeteria and administrative block.

All environments are air-conditioned, accessible and the school is self-sufficient in energy.

The Municipal Manager highlighted that the building project follows a standard and emphasized the importance of the new equipment for the community: “It is a great school, following the standard of our delivered schools, up to what the population deserves. There are 10 new schools, 47 renovated teaching units, in addition to the 26 courts”, highlighted Glêdson.
