David Britochampion of BBB 24, carried out boat rescues this Thursday (9) in Canoas, one of the cities affected by the rain in Rio Grande do Sul (RS). O Bahian arrived in the city of Rio Grande do Sul on Wednesday (8)showed that they obtained three trucks of supplies, one of water and two of food, through donations they have received, and visited the kitchen of one of the shelters.
This afternoon, the BBB 24 champion showed that he carried out boat rescues and detailed the situation. “We have already caught two dogs, a parrot and now we are going to rescue a life,” he said.
“It’s chaotic. The city is under water. This is heartbreaking, this is the time to unite and fight. We have to help this here, people! The government alone will not be able to help these people,” said Davi. Watch here.
Departure to RS
Davi said he is in Rio Grande do Sul (RS) to help the population from Rio Grande do Sul and doesn’t know when he will return to Salvador (BA).
According to the brother, in addition to collecting supplies, he is available to help with whatever is needed, such as cooking or first aid.
Balance of floods
Civil Defense updated the flood balance at 12pm this Thursday (9). According to the agency, the number of deaths rose to 107, but one death is still under investigation. On the other hand, the number of injured rose to 374 and the number of missing to 136.
There are 428 cities affected by the floods, 67,563 people are homeless and 165,112 are displaced. In total, 1,482,006 people were affected.
