It seems that TikTok has advanced one of the beauty trends of the Met Gala 2024. The so-called “boyfriend blush”, which highlights the natural flush of the cheeks, inspired the makeup of names like Gigi Hadid, Ayo Edebiri and Sarah Paulson.
Applied right in the center of the cheeks, the blush appears well marked and in pink tones, reminiscent of the flushed effect that appears after intense sports or when we feel embarrassed.
The frontal blush with a rounded shape goes against the sculptural aesthetic that usually appears in more elaborate makeup. On the red carpet, the style proved its versatility: in the beauty of actress Ayo Edebiri, the cheeks were the focus; In Gigi Hadid’s look, the product appears softer, sharing the spotlight with red lipstick.
