Celebrities mobilize to help flood victims in RS; look!

Rio Grande do Sul, a Brazilian state, is facing the biggest climate disaster, with floods caused by heavy rains. With thousands of people homeless, people missing and more than 70 deaths (as of the beginning of this Sunday, 05/05), celebrities are using their visibility to ask for help.

Among them, the comedian Whindersson Nunes, which is committed to the campaign and has already raised more than R$3 million in donations. The ex-BBB Matthewwho is from Alegrete, a municipality in Rio Grande do Sul, is also participating in the campaign and managed to raise R$1 million in approximately 12 hours.

Luisa Sonza, who is also from Rio Grande do Sul, is actively and frequently sharing details about the tragedy and different ways to help. “I’m very sad, a lot of people I know are there, so I ask a lot: help me”, said Luisa. She also revealed that her father is in the region helping the homeless.

Other famous people, like Luan Santana, Ivete Sangalo, Taís Araujo, Tiago Iorc, Davi Brito, They are sharing with their thousands of followers the various means of helping victims. There are also those who have donated or are still going to donate amounts, such as country native Gusttavo Lima, who confirmed that he will donate all the proceeds from the next ‘Boteco’ festival to help the cause.
