Born in the municipality of Roca Sales, the model and winner of the beauty contest Miss Brazil in 2008, Natalya Anderleaged 37, was one of the people missing after the storms that hit the Rio Grande do Sul in the last days. The model contacted friends on social media to inform them that she was fine, but had difficulty connecting due to the lack of power and internet connection.
To Estadão, the president of Miss Grand Brasil and former director of Miss Universe, Evandro Hazzy, informed that he managed to contact the model who had not given any news to friends and family for four days. “She is sheltering in a place with no communication,” he said.
In an audio conversation on Instagram, Natalya told the executive: “Just to let you know that I’m fine, everything is fine thank God. If you could do me a favor (let people know), because I’m going to run out of signal”, said the model.
At another point in the conversation, via text, Natalya asks Hazzy to help with publicity to inform the press that she is fine. “That’s it, help me say that everything is fine (…) and notify the media (…) Everyone is safe and well, outside the risk area. Just without power or telephone”, wrote the former Miss Brazil to calm her friends.
On her profile on the social network, the model from Rio Grande do Sul made a post to calm friends and family. “Thank you to all concerned friends, now is the time to gather in prayer for all those affected,” wrote Natálya. “We are safe and well at home with family. We are without power and phone connection at the moment. Sending prayers to all those affected”, added the model in English in the post.

As announced by the governor of RS Eduardo Leite, to date the State has recorded 56 deaths, but numbers may still change. According to official data, the region has 67 missing people.
The model who lives in the United States, according to reports from her family, was seven months pregnant and was visiting her family in the country. She was preparing to have her child in her homeland. The model had been missing for four days, as reported by the State Civil Defense.

Still in her youth, before experiencing the glamor of catwalks and beauty contests, the Rio Grande do Sul native from Roca Sales worked as a maid to help pay for her studies in cosmetology, an area she would pursue before being crowned Miss Brazil.
Daughter of farming parents, Natálya moved to the neighboring city of Encantado, where she lived with family. The municipality located in Vale do Taquari, is in one of the regions most affected by the heavy rains that hit the State in recent days.
In the world of beauty competitions, Natálya was promoted to Miss Rio Grande do Sul in 2008, a position that took her to the national competition that year, when the gaucho was crowned the most beautiful young woman in the country at Miss Brazil.
With the victory, the model qualified for the international edition of Miss Universe, but ended up ending her participation among the 15 Miss Universe finalists.
