Actress and singer Chynna Phillips shocked her fans by sharing a video exposing some of the problems in her nearly 30-year marriage to actor William Baldwin. Now 56 years old, Chynna is the daughter of John and Michelle Phillips, lead singers of the legendary group The Mamas & the Papas.
Over the past few years she has invested in her musical career in Christian songs.
Married to William Baldwin since 1995, Chynna currently has more than 91 thousand subscribers on YouTube and more than 87 thousand followers on Instagram.
In the video shared by the artist on her channel, she attributed the growing tensions with her husband to their recent move to Los Angeles.

“It’s frustrating, because as soon as we seem to be able to fix things, everything starts to get better, we start to feel tensions again”, said the celebrity.
“I was really proud of myself because we started arguing this morning and he asked, ‘What do you want?’. And I replied: ‘I want adequate communication, I want us to have effective communication’”.
She then explained her difficulties with her partner: “Billy is my life partner. He’s the person I want to have the healthiest relationship with… But sometimes it’s not possible. Many times I don’t want to create tension, I don’t want to take away his mood and I’m always walking on eggshells.”
“Ultimately, it’s about not wanting to offer him any triggers, but the truth is that this fear prevents us from achieving sincere intimacy, because it prevents me from opening up to him. I’m trying to preserve his feelings and I end up causing more problems in our marriage by doing so. It’s a shot in the foot.”
Last March, Chynna Phillips came to her husband’s defense, after actress Sharon Stone said she was pressured into having sex with him to “improve” the drama ‘Invasion of Privacy’ (1993). Stone’s speech resulted in a public exchange of jabs between her and Baldwin.
Chynna Phillips published on Instagram a message from American theologian and pastor Tim Keller (1950-2023), which is not literally in the Scriptures, but is part of the biblical studies and thoughts of the author of best sellers such as ‘The Gospel in Life’ and ‘The Prodigal Prophet’.
The phrase she published says: “If you are a hundred times worse than you are, your sins will be no match for His mercy.”
Sharon Stone revealed in her autobiography, ‘The Beauty of Living Twice’, released in 2021, that a producer had encouraged her to have sex with a colleague so that their interaction on film would improve. Then, more recently, in an interview with presenter Louis Theroux, she said that the producer was Robert Evans, the actor William Baldwin and the film ‘Invasion of Privacy’.
William Baldwin reacted through social media. He made posts on X, formerly Twitter, with threats against Stone.
He asked: “Why does Sharon Stone keep talking about me all these years later? Does she still have a crush on me or is she still hurt after all these years because I avoided her advances?
