In a video released on the talk show’s social media “The Talk” on Wednesday (24), Bahian actor Wagner Moura is seen demonstrating the typical Bahian dance. During the North American program, he taught the presenters how to dance the samba. In the interview, Moura stood up with the presenters to try to clarify the distinction between the rhythm of samba in Bahia and Rio de Janeiro.

Before that, he had exemplified the rhythm of Brazilian samba, common in the roots circles, using a box of matches. “That’s how we samba in my city, Salvador. In Rio things are bigger, but in Salvador it’s ‘small'”, said, while giving an interview for the film “Civil War”, which has been leading the American and Brazilian box office in recent weeks. Wagner Moura, who plays journalist Joel in the film, is the protagonist of the entire plot.

The talk show profile highlighted the moment on its social networks. “Wagner Moura showing his samba skills”, wrote on Instagram.

A fan praised Wagner on social media, declaring: “this man is a historical asset of Brazil”. The audience also applauded the actor for his dance moves during the studio broadcast of the show.
