The first teaser and poster for the Silvio Santos biopic were released this Tuesday, the 2nd, and feature Rodrigo Faro playing the presenter. Titled “Silvio”, the film also has a release date: September 5th.
The synopsis, released by distributor Imagem Filmes, does not reveal the approach that the plot will use to tell the story of the founder of SBT.

In addition to Rodrigo Faro as the presenter, the film also stars Johnnas Oliva, Bruna Aiiso, Paulo Gorgulho, Vinícius Ricci, Marjorie Gerardi, Fellipe Castro, Eduardo Reyes, Adriana Londoño, Lara Córdula, Polliana Aleixo and Duda Mamberti. Directed by Marcelo Antunez.
