Luana Piovani and Pedro Scooby
Actress and model Luana Piovani revealed this Wednesday (13) that she is prohibited from talking about her ex-husband, surfer Pedro Scooby, and the raising of her three children from her former relationship with him: Dom, Liz and Bem.
Piovani was banned again, in 2023, but the artist’s defense managed to reverse the measure. Now, after a hearing in March, the actress is once again banned from talking about the surfer. She defines the process as “Gag Sentence”.
“I am gagged in Portugal. Here we go to the European Court of Human Rights. The issue is that we obviously have to pay the lawyer’s fees and the court’s fees and it’s difficult, because you spend money to protect yourself and, if you don’t have money, you don’t protect yourself”, he declared.
Piovani highlighted that he intends to appeal to the European Union, which is a kind of higher court than the Portuguese court. However, she also stated that she will have to pay fines if she exposes her ex-husband on social media.
“As I was found guilty, there are fines for me talking about the parent, since I can no longer talk about the parent on the internet. I can’t burn his film, like I need to burn his film,” she explained.
“This makes me have my ass in my hand, because I don’t have that money to give to the Portuguese government because I’m telling the truth on the internet. So what am I going to do? I take all my money out of the account, I don’t have any costs”, he added.
Luana Piovani also recalled the lawsuit she intended to file against a Portuguese judge. She says she was “humiliated and mistreated” by the professional, but claimed that she will not be able to sue her because she signed an agreement.
“That judge from the first hearing we went to, who humiliated, disrespected and mistreated us, I can’t file a case with the European Court of Human Law against her because I signed an agreement at the end of that damned hearing, but into which I was coerced . I had an anxiety attack, I needed to organize myself physically and mentally and I would even sign my death warrant if someone gave it to me, because I was completely abducted by panic, nervousness and anger”, she concluded.
