Many Brazilians don’t know, but it is possible to withdraw up to R$1,412 in 2024 if some labor rules are followed. It may not seem like much, but this money makes a difference in the end-of-month bills, especially if the worker is in debt.
To date, the deposit for four groups has already been made in the accounts of millions of Brazilians. We are talking about the PIS/Pasep salary bonus, whose maximum value is one minimum wage. Payments are intended for those who formally worked in the base year 2022.
Who is entitled to the salary bonus?
To guarantee access to the bonus, the worker must meet the following conditions:
- have worked in a formal paid manner for at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year of calculation (2022);
- have been registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
- have worked for employers who contribute to PIS/Pasep;
- have received during the working period up to two minimum monthly wages, considering the value in force in the base year.
- have the data correctly provided by the employer (legal entity or government) in the Annual Social Information List (Rais) or eSocial.
On the other hand, rural workers employed by an individual, domestic workers and urban workers employed by an individual are excluded from the salary bonus.

How to consult PIS/Pasep
With the digitalization of various government services, consult PIS/Pasep 2024 became an easy task. In addition to the benefit payment dates, the worker can check the amount available.
To access, it’s very simple: just download the app on your cell phone. Digital Work Card or access the portal Gov.br. The Caixa Trabalhador and BB Pasep apps also provide details about the program.

Remembering that workers from private companies receive money through Caixa (PIS) channels, while public servants receive the money via Banco do Brasil (Pasep).
