CCR’s profit rises almost 42% in 1Q24

CCR (CCRO3) reported an adjusted net profit of R$449 million in the first quarter of 2024 (1Q24), an increase of 41.5% compared to the same period of the previous year.

The company attributes this result to “capturing the strong growth in demand” during the period.

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) totaled R$ 2.06 billion in 1QR24, registering a growth of 4.6% in relation to 1QR23.

On the other hand, the adjusted Ebitda margin reached 59.4% between January and March this year, a reduction of 1.8 percentage points compared to the same period in 1QR23.

Net revenue, in turn, reached R$3.479 billion in the first quarter of this year, reflecting a growth of 7.7% compared to the same period in 2023.

Operating expenses totaled R$448.3 million in 1Q24, representing a decrease of 16.3% compared to the same period in 2023.

The net financial result was negative R$790 million in the first quarter of 2024, a reduction of 5.8% compared to the financial losses in the same period of 2023.

In 1TRI24, investments made, including those to be received as financial assets, totaled R$1.088 billion.

CCR SA is one of the main infrastructure concession companies in Brazil. Founded in 1999, the company operates in several segments, including highways, airports, urban mobility and related services.

In the highway sector, CCR is one of the largest concessionaires in the country, managing several highways in different regions of Brazil, covering an extensive road network.

In addition, the company also has a stake in airport concessions, operating important airports such as São Paulo – Guarulhos (GRU Airport), Brasília (BSB), among others.

In the urban mobility sector, CCR operates in subway systems, such as Line 4-Yellow of the São Paulo Metro, and in public bus transport systems in some Brazilian cities.
