This Friday’s corporate radar (3) brings 3R Petroleum (RRRP3), which requested the ANP for a compulsory transfer of the 37.5% stake held by Nova Técnica in the Papa Terra Field. Petrobras (PETR4) updated the amount to be paid per share of extraordinary dividends for the 2023 financial year.

GPA (PCAR3) signed an agreement to sell and lease its administrative headquarters for R$218 million.

With regard to balance sheets, Gerdau (GGBR4) made a profit of R$ 1.25 billion in the 1st quarter, a drop of 47.9%. Eztec (EZTC3) profits R$56.7 million in the first quarter, an increase of 34.3% on an annual basis. Iguatemi (IGTI11) has an increase of 63% in adjusted profit in 1Q24 and Ebitda rises 13.4%. Marcopolo (POMO4) records a profit of R$316.9 million in the 1st quarter, an increase of 34.1%.

Petrobras updated the amount to be paid per share of extraordinary dividends for the 2023 financial year, considering the correction of the Selic rate until May 2, 2024. The value of the first installment per share went from R$0.84962838 to R$0 .87998852, while the value of the second installment went from R$0.84962838 to R$0.87998852, totaling R$1.75997704 per share.

3R Petroleum (RRRP3)

3R announced that, due to the non-compliance with the financial obligations of Nova Técnica established within the scope of the Papa Terra Field consortium, 3R Offshore initiated the necessary measures before the Tender Promotion Superintendence of the National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (SPL/ANP) for the compulsory transfer of the 37.5% stake held by Nova Técnica in the asset.

3R Offshore is currently the operator of the Papa Terra Field, under the terms of the Concession Agreement, holding a 62.5% interest in the asset. It is worth noting that the right to demand compulsory assignment, in conditions of default on financial obligations, has an express basis in the private legal instrument that governs the consortium.

CPFL (CPFE3) reported that as a result of the heavy rains that have hit the state of Rio Grande do Sul since Tuesday (30), in the early afternoon of today, there was a partial rupture of the dam at the 14 de Julho Hydroelectric Plant (UHE 14 July),
one of the three plants that are part of the Rio das Antas (Ceran) energy complex.

GPA (PCAR3) signed a contract for the sale and leaseback operation of the properties that make up its administrative headquarters located on Avenida Brigadeiro Luis Antônio, in the city of São Paulo, for R$218 million.

The São Paulo City Council approved this Thursday, 2nd, the bill that allows the capital to join the privatization of Sabesp (SBSP3), with 37 votes in favor and 17 against. The text was subsequently sanctioned by Mayor Ricardo Nunes (MDB). On the 17th, the project had already received initial approval from councilors in the first vote. Since then, it has undergone modifications to ensure final approval in a second vote.

Iguatemi, owner of a network of 16 shopping centers, reported net profit of R$81.1 million in the first quarter of 2024, an increase of 69.5% compared to the same period in 2023. Adjusted net profit was R$ $108.4 million, 63% growth.

Gerdau (GGBR4) reported adjusted net profit of R$1.25 billion in the first quarter of 2023 (1Q24), an amount 47.9% lower than that reported in the same period in 2023.

Marcopolo (POMO4)

Marcopolo (POMO4), one of the largest bus manufacturers in the country, released on Thursday (2) its financial results for the first quarter of 2024. In the period, the company achieved a net profit of R$316.9 million , an increase of 34.1% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Construction company Eztec (EZTC3) reported net profit of R$56.7 million in the first quarter of 2023 (1Q24), an amount 34.3% higher than that reported in the same period in 2023.
