Since winning BBB 24 (Globo), Davi has repeated the slogan “calm down, Calabreso”. On the reality show, however, he used the phrase only once, during a discussion with Lucas Buda.

In today’s Central Splash (6), Chico Barney pointed out that Davi surfed the catchphrase wave after the end of the reality show. “We see that Globo’s soap operas no longer have a catchphrase. Those who managed to get a catchphrase on Globo a few years ago were the former BBBs. Davi had some, who were the ‘type like that’, the ‘psiu’. But when he he saw that, out here, what was really popular was ‘cala, calabreso’, he, who only said ‘cala, calabreso’ one night, now doesn’t say anything else. In fact, it’s his brand. Toninho Tornado, but who is, in some way, more identified with Davi”.

‘Calm down, Calabreso’ is Carnival, says Pasin

Lucas Pasin evaluated the repercussion of David’s catchphrases. “I like ‘calm down, calabreso’, I think that’s what people associated most with him. It was the grandest of his catchphrases. Because ‘psiu’ became a bit of a negative thing. It wasn’t a happy thing. The ‘calm down’ , Calabreso’ is happy, it’s Carnival, it’s funny. But it’s not his. The least important thing about ‘calabreso’ was Davi.”
