Rafael remembers his times with Luna, and Cristina tells him that he must get his life back. Cleyde teaches Serena to read at school. Serena draws a rose. Cleyde is surprised, because she knows that there are no roses in the region. The Shaman claims that the flower is a warning of Serena’s destiny. More years pass and Serena becomes an adult. José Aristides asks Serena to marry him. Felipe tells his father that his obsession with Luna made him forget to take care of him, the business and the house. Rafael explains that he feels like his wife is still alive. Cristina tells Rafael that he should get married again, for Felipe’s sake. Serena tells the Shaman that she feels a song calling her away from the village, and she doesn’t know if she should follow it or stay and marry José Aristides. The Pajé states that everyone comes to the world to find love. José Aristides runs to warn Serena about her mother. Serena runs away. Jacira is killed by a jaguar, much to Serena’s despair. Mirna tells her brother Crispim that she wants to find a boyfriend so she doesn’t get stuck. Crispim tells Mirna that he is the one who will choose her boyfriend. Olivia tells Rafael that she is going to throw a surprise wedding anniversary party for Raul and tells him to go. Olivia guarantees that she will introduce Rafael to a stunning woman at her party. · José Aristides tells Serena that the white people are trying to expel the indigenous people from the lands. Serena discovers that Josias is the leader of the miners and goes looking for her father to ask for his people. Josias treats Serena badly and claims that she is not his daughter. Débora tells Cristina that she needs to marry Rafael because she is at risk if Guto gets out of jail. Guto tells Cristina that he has been released. Prospectors invade the village of Serena.
