Therefore, the National Electric System Operator (ONS), a body linked to the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel), took precautionary measures to avoid a blackout in Brazilian homes. To support peak consumption, an energy reserve was used to meet demand.

Viewers watched the revelation that Olavo (Wagner Moura) was Taís’ killer, and the villain’s subsequent death; the comeback of Bebel (Camila Pitanga), who ends up as the lover of a deputy; and the happy ending of Daniel (Fábio Assunção) and Paula (Alessandra Negrini), among other highlights.

The rerun of Paraíso Tropical ends on May 3rd on Vale a Pena Ver de Novo, on Globo’s afternoons. The plot will be replaced by Alma Gêmea (2005), which returns to air next Monday, April 29th.
