But a special reunion once again thrilled ‘Chaves’ fans. Maria Antoinette de Las Nieves73 years old, who played Chiquinha in the series, and Edgar VivarO Your Bellycurrently 75 years old, appeared together behind the scenes of a play.

The photo of the iconic actors was posted on María’s Instagram, who wrote in the caption: “Happy to do my first performance in the play ‘Los huevos de mi madre’ on April 21st. Thank you to everyone who came to see it and for the kind comments” .

And the fans, always nostalgic about the cast’s reunions, reacted emotionally in the comments: “How beautiful“, said a follower. “We here in Brazil love you”, confessed another fan of the series. “Seu Barriga e Chiquinha. Quico de ‘Chaves’ was diagnosed with cancer

Recently, another sad news took ‘Chaves’ fans by surprise. Carlos Villagrán, known for playing the character Quico in the series, was diagnosed with prostate cancer at the end of last year.

The information was revealed by People En Español magazine, which assured that he had already undergone surgery to remove the tumor. At the time, he spoke to the magazine detailing his state of health: “I just had prostate surgery and nothing else. It’s the only operation I’ve had, I came out of it, I thanked God.”

After the repercussion of the news, the eternal Quico gave a new message to his fans on social media: “Don’t worry, don’t be scared. It happened a long time ago and I never announced it”, explained Carlos, who also added: “Please, don’t give I listened to the sensationalist media, I’m healthy, I’m working at Disneyland, in Anaheim, everything is over.”
