According to consolidated data from Kantar Ibope Mediathe plot based on the original by Benedito Ruy Barbosa has an overall average of 25.5 pointsin its 80 chapters published until last Tuesday (23).

In the same period, the predecessor, Earth and Passionreached an average of 25.6 points. The drop, despite being small, arouses some concern among Globo’s top brass.since expectations were that the averages would be higher, given the heavy investments made in the work.

In this scenario, Crossing (2022) scored just 23.1 points in its first 80 chapters shown in global prime time. The second version of Pantanal (2022), also adapted by Bruno Luperi, onlyurgency with 29.0 points, while A Place in the Sun (2021), scored a measly 22.2.
