Bellingham reinforces lobby for Vini Jr’s Ballon d’Or: “Best in the world” | spanish football

The European season may not have ended, but the Madrid side have already chosen the best player in the world. After the fans sang that Vinicius Junior deserved the Ballon d’Or, it was Bellingham’s turn to reinforce the lobby for the Brazilian’s individual award. Even though he is one of the number 7’s direct competitors, the Englishman made it clear that he supports Vini Jr.’s victory.

Bellingham calls Vini Jr. the “best in the world” during the Spanish title parade

This Sunday, the Real Madrid squad and coaching staff went to Plaza de Cibeles, in Madrid, to participate in the club’s official celebration of the 36th LaLiga trophy.

During the party, Real Madrid TV interviewed Vini Jr. and Bellingham who were hugging (watch the video above). The Brazilian spoke first and joked with his English companion, who became “Belligol” in Brazil.

— I’m on the side of “Belligol”, as they say in Brazil. I’m very happy to be able to experience this with the players and the fans. This will give us a lot of energy to win the Champions League — projected Vini.

Still a beginner in Spanish, Bellingham highlighted the joy of celebrating his first title with Real Madrid and praised Vini Jr.

— I’m very happy for my first (title) celebration. I’m with the best player in the world and I’m very happy said Bellingham.

Vinicius Junior and Bellingham’s Real Madrid are preparing for the Champions League final to be played against Borussia Dortmund. The final is scheduled for Wembley, England, on June 1st, at 4pm (Brasília time).
