Belgrade (Serbia) – Just over a month after announcing the end of partnership with coach Goran Ivanisevic, world number 1 Novak Djokovic has decided to make another change to the team. The Serbian finished working with his physical trainer, the Italian Marco Panichi.

“Great Marco, what incredible years of work we have had! We reached the top, won titles and broke records. But most of all, I enjoyed our more ‘ordinary’ training days in and out of the gym,” Djokovic wrote on Twitter. Instagram this Tuesday.

“Endless hours of ‘carciofini’ (fried artichokes) and laughter left me super motivated to set myself up for success. Thank you, Romanista -as Goran calls you- for all the energy, effort and time you invested in making me the best possible player and person I can be. See you soon in Rome”, added the Serb.
