The government of Rio Grande do Sul requested the postponement of the match between Inter x Juventude, scheduled for 9:30 pm this Wednesday, in Beira-Rio, for the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. The reason is the problems faced by the high volumes of rain that hit the state.

The request is signed by Colonel Luciano Chaves Boeira, head of the State Military House. The request was sent to the president of the Gaucho Football Federation (FGF), Luciano Hocsman. In contact with the report gethe director stated that he is awaiting a position from the CBF.

Roadblock makes Juventude delegation return to Caxias do Sul

The Juventude delegation has not yet been able to reach Porto Alegre due to the situation on the roads. The trip was initially scheduled for 1:30 pm, but was postponed until the end of the afternoon due to blockages on the way between Caxias do Sul and Porto Alegre.

The club decided to start traveling via an alternative route, but was trapped in the field after a barrier fell between the cities of Boa Vista do Sul and Teutônia and had to return to Caxias do Sul. Juventude has not yet released any new information about the trip. .

The storms that have hit Rio Grande do Sul since Monday have already left five dead and 18 missing. According to Civil Defense, 77 cities recorded problems due to the rain. Meteorological warnings indicate that the rain is expected to intensify in the coming days, worsening the situation.
