The CBF released, on Sunday afternoon (28), the VAR audio about Botafogo’s second goal in the 2-0 victory over Flamengo, at Maracanã, in the Brasileirão. Despite the red and black team’s complaints about Diego Hernández’s foul on Fabrício Bruno, referee Raphael Claus had no doubts.

“For me it was nothing. He dug a lot, Toski. He threw his leg and threw himself. He dug a lot”, said the referee to the match’s VAR, Rodolpho Toski Marques.

After quick analysis of the bid, the person responsible for VAR agrees.

“I agree. No impact. Goal confirmed. Normal game contact, lateralized. He feels the contact and throws himself”, says Rodolpho Toski.

When leaving the field, Fabrício Bruno complained that he was touched in the ribs to complain about the lack of a free kick. Bruno Henrique said that Claus claimed that the move was similar to the goal scored by Flamengo against Botafogo itself, in the 2023 Brasileirão.

That match, which ended 2-1, and the play in question, including, are in the report that John Textor delivered to the Game Manipulation CPI.
