Brazilian heavyweight makes his debut in the organization
Hired in the last season of Dana White’s Contender Series, Jhonata Diniz from Paraná is ready to make his UFC debut. The heavyweight impressed by knocking out compatriot Eduardo Neves and will now have the chance to show off his skills against Austen Lane on the card. A veteran with more than 15 fights in Ultimate, black belt Rani Yahya will close the UFC Vegas 91 preliminary card in a duel against Victor Henry. The Brazilian debuted in the UFC in 2011, but has been fighting MMA professionally since 2002, facing names like Kid Yamamoto, Fredson Paixão and Gesias Cavalcante before fighting in the UFC. The 39-year-old fighter has 13 victories in Ultimate and 28 in total in his career, 21 of which were by submission.
Caio Machado aims for first victory in the organization
Heavyweight Caio Machado will be looking for his first UFC victory this Saturday and will face North American Don’Tale Mayes on the preliminary card. The São Paulo native was signed in the last season of Dana White’s Contender Series after beating Kevin Szaflarski by unanimous decision and made his debut in November last year, but was surpassed by Mick Parkin. The heavyweight has six quick victories and, despite losing in his last appearance, he left with his arm raised in his previous seven fights.

Ketlen Esquentadinha has an important fight ahead of her
Manaus Ketlen “Esquentadinha” Souza is another Brazilian looking for her first UFC victory this Saturday. The fighter made a last-minute debut against compatriot Karine Silva at UFC Vegas 74, in June last year, and ended up submitting in the first round. Now, in her home category, she faces Marnic Mann on the UFC Vegas 91 preliminary card. Ketlen is known for her knockout power, with eight of her 13 victories coming this way, and she has won five of her last six clashes.
