The circuit to access the elite of world surfing begins this Saturday morning (27) in Australia, Friday night (26) in Brazil due to the time difference. The Gold Coast Pro 2024 is the first stage of the Challenger Series of the season and takes place on the right of Snapper Rocks.
The competition window runs until May 4th.
One of the attractions of the event is a heat with world champions: Kelly Slater, Mick Fanning, Stephanie Gilmore, Joel Parkinson and Mark Occhilupo open the main stage, with an unmissable duel for fans of the sport.
It’s worth remembering that Kelly Slater is also confirmed in the main event.
The 11-time world champion from the United States was cut from the elite this season and had confirmed his retirement, but is taking part in the tournament in Snapper.
