The first goal for Botafogo it was a great goal. Luiz Henrique received it from Savarino, had a lot of coolness, dribbled past the goalkeeper and put it into the net in the 3-1 victory over Universitario (PER), this Wednesday, for the Libertadores. The striker explained the move in an interview in the mixed area of the Nilton Santos Stadium after the game.

– I worked a lot on futsal when I was younger, I have this move of stepping on the ball, doing these dribbles. It’s working, I’m going to keep doing it, now it’s time to keep going – said Luiz Henrique, who made a point of celebrating with the coach Arthur Jorge.

– I went to the coach for the goal I scored, because he has been talking to me a lot, that he needs me on the field, to move. This goal was for him and for my family, who accompany me to every game. I’m very happy with this goal, just keep working, everything will be fine – he added,

The player commented on the style of Artur Jorge, who has put a very offensive Botafogo on the field.

– We are adapting to this new Artur Jorge game, we know it is a little difficult, but we are finding ourselves in our day-to-day work. This game our coach tells me to be comfortable, move, rotate, get the ball more, whether open or closed, it’s working very well. Now it’s time to move forward, working every day to make everything work out and, God willing, qualify for the Libertadores – he added.
