Alonso may have a negative record for the interval between wins

Fernando Alonso reached an unwanted milestone in the Formula 1 Chinese GP: 4,000 days have passed since his last victory in the category. The two-time champion (2005 and 2006) has 32 F1 triumphs, but the most recent one happened 11 years ago.

Despite the lack of victories, the 42-year-old Spaniard has been achieving good results with Aston Martin, his team since 2023. Alonso achieved eight podiums and finished the 2023 drivers’ championship in fourth place, with 206 points.

However, the last time he won in the main category of world motorsport was on May 12, 2013, at the Spanish GP.
