Allianz Parque’s facial recognition system helped the Palm trees to identify the fan responsible for spitting on coach Tite, from Flamengo, last Sunday (21).

The Palmeiras native’s name was not disclosed and he is not part of the Avanti fan membership program, but rather part of ‘Passaporte’, a program managed by Real Arenas, the company that manages the stadium.

Verdão’s board of directors will do everything possible to ensure that the company, which is owned by W Torre, takes exemplary measures against the fan who took such action against a Brazilian football professional.

This Monday (22), the Alviverde board had already apologized to Flamengo and now Palmeiras will also present the images to the police, in addition to hoping that the club is not punished for the isolated attitude of a fan.
