The end of the first Ba-Vi of the state final was marked by a comeback by the home team, at Barradão, declaring the tricolor defeat by 3-2.

The opponent’s third goal was scored in the last play of the match, when the clock marked eight minutes of stoppage time. The controversy was due to the fact that, initially, the referee had signaled five minutes of additional time.

In the match summary, referee Bruno Pereira Vasconcelos explained how the ball rolled until the 53rd minute of the second half.

According to him, it was made clear to the athletes of both teams that the additional time would start to run after the celebration of Vitória’s second goal.

“I inform you that the added time sign was raised in the 47th minute of the 2nd half, due to the refereeing team managing EC Vitória’s goal celebration, which occurred in the 45th minute, when it should have been signalled”.

With this, the teams were informed that the 5 minutes of extra time signaled by the board took place from the 47th minute onwards.and the match ends at 52 minutes.

There is still another minute of extra time, adding up to a total of 8 minutes of extra timeending the match 53 minutes into the 2nd half”, wrote the Bahian referee.
