Apple revealed, this Tuesday (07), the new iPad Air 2024. The tablet comes for the first time with a 13-inch version, in addition to the traditional 11-inch model that has been remodeled.
During the “Let Loose” event, the company revealed that the product is equipped with the M2 chip, which is 50% faster than the iPad Air with M1 and 3 times faster than the device with the A12 Bionic chip.
The new iPad Air comes with a Liquid Retina screen, and the larger version allows more applications to be opened in Split View mode (split screen) and more participants in Zoom meetings, for example.

Both editions have a 12 MP front camera, 5G, Spatial Audio, touch ID and Wi-Fi 6E. They have editions from 128 GB up to 1 TB of storage.
Price and availability of the new iPad Air
The new iPad Air is now available for pre-order in the United States and will be delivered starting next week. The equipment is being sold for US$599 (around R$3,000 at current prices), in the 11-inch version, and US$799 (R$4,000), in the 13-inch version.
Consumers can choose between Blue, Purple, Starlight and Space Gray colors.
