Child forced to run on treadmill
Christopher Gregor is facing the possibility of being sentenced to life in prison for the death of his six-year-old son, Corey. The episode happened in 2021, when he forced his son to run on the treadmill at a gym because he considered him “too fat”.
During the ongoing trial, images were shown showing Gregor forcing the boy to run at high speed on the treadmill. The scene revealed that Corey fell to the ground several times due to exhaustion, but even so, his father forced him to continue, completely ignoring the child’s clear signs of distress.

At one point, Christopher grabbed his son by the shirt and forced him to keep running, going so far as to press his mouth against the boy’s head to ensure his obedience.
Previous assaults
The victim’s mother reported the father, also reporting previous attacks against the child.
Days after the incident at the gym, Corey woke up with difficulty walking, nausea and speech problems. When taken to the hospital, the boy revealed to the doctor that he was forced to run by his father, who constantly called him “fat”.
During a medical examination, the boy had a seizure and died, leaving his mother in tears as she witnessed the images that revealed the situation her son faced.
