Brian Wilsonfounder and leader of Beach Boyswill be under guardianship of the businessman due to a “major neurocognitive disorder”. The decision was given by a Los Angeles court this Thursday, 9.

In February, the musician’s team announced that Wilson, 81, had developed a dementia condition and that he would be looked after by “long-time family representatives” after the death of his wife, Melinda, in January.

“The court concluded, based on clear and convincing evidence, that guardianship of the person is necessary and appropriate in the sense that (Wilson) is incapable of caring for (his) person,” says the US court decision, according to o USA Today.
