The strength of heavy metal is enhanced by the grandeur of the orchestrated music in ‘Metallica Symphonic Tribute’, a concert in honor of the North American band, which arrives this Thursday (May 9), at 8pm, at Palácio das Artes (Av . Afonso Pena, 1537 – Center). The show features Metallica classics, such as ‘Enter Sandman’, ‘Nothing Else Matters’ and ‘No Leaf Clover’, performed by band and orchestra.

Live and with orchestra

The performance is inspired by the live album ‘S&M’ (1990), which featured Metallica accompanied by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. The tribute show brings together musicians Roberto Oliveira (guitar and vocals), Johnny Prada (drums), Alexandre Novaes (guitar) and Robson Medeiros (bass), in addition to the orchestra made up of guest musicians, conducted by maestro Fernando Mathias.

“The ‘Metallica Symphonic Tribute’ is more than a show, it’s a unique experience that combines the power of metal with the grandeur of symphonic music. Audiences can expect an unforgettable musical journey, with Metallica classics interpreted in a whole new way and exciting”, says Roberto Oliveira.

The concert that arrives in the capital of Minas Gerais has already performed in cities such as Curitiba, Campinas, Ribeirão Preto and Uberaba. After BH, the next dates include Porto Alegre, Brasília and Goiânia.
