As announced, the Italian symphonic power-metal band, RHAPSODY OF FIRE, will tour South America this May 2024. The band will also perform a show in Brazil, passing through the city of São Paulo on the 9th, at Carioca Club. Currently the band has an already established line-up after “disbanding” the classic line-up a few years ago. Even so, the band remains firm and strong.
In a post on social media, bassist Alessandro Sala revealed that he will be out of this tour due to commitments with his main work; the musician is also a physicist.

“Dear Rapsodo friends,
As many of you already know, my personal life revolves around two wonderful jobs: music and science. When I’m not playing with ROF I work as an experimental physicist in the laboratory, trying to create new materials that encourage me to advance the technological advancement of our society. As you might expect, this situation – and 2024 in particular – requires professional commitments on both sides.
For this reason, I won’t be able to tour South America with my bandmates and play for each of you. Alex, Roby, Paolo and Giacomo understand this particular situation and support me in everything I do, and for that I am eternally grateful. Fortunately, my part will not be missing: our friend Danilo Arisi will temporarily replace me and take his bass line to the shows. And don’t worry about me, I’ll be back at ROF for more shows coming soon!
