With an estimated fortune of US$580 million (more than R$3 billion), Madonna is one of the 15 richest female celebrities in the United States, according to “Forbes” magazine.
However, the value calculated in June 2023 could increase by more than US$100 million after the end of the pop queen’s current “Celebration” tour.
At least that’s what “Billboard” magazine predicted in January 2023, when the series of presentations around the world had just been announced and still consisted of around 60 dates.
Madonna has made most of her fortune from music (some of her fellow millionaires and billionaires, like Rihanna and Beyoncé, derive great value from their fashion brands or aesthetics).
According to “Billboard”, the singer has raised around US$1.4 billion from shows throughout her career of more than 40 years, and sold almost 12 million tickets in 575 performances.
Historically, Madonna’s most financially successful tour was “Sticky & Sweet”, which took place between 2008 and 2009. With 85 shows, it grossed more than US$400 million and sold 3.5 million tickets.
