Mustaine says that musicians from the current Megadeth lineup are closer to each other

The band Megadeth, led by guitarist Dave Mustaine, is one of the great representatives of Thrash Metal. Throughout their brilliant career, the group released albums that became classics of the style, notably the magnificent “Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying?” and “Rust In Peace”, released respectively in 1986 and 1990.

Megadeth is known not only for its classic albums, but also for its constant changes of members. The last one happened in the second half of 2023, when Brazilian guitarist Kiko Loureiro was replaced by Teemu Mäntysaari.

In the tour announcement, published on Megadeth’s official website, Dave Mustaine stated that the musicians in the group’s current lineup are closer, both on and off stage.

“Our ‘Crush The World’ tour has been a tremendous experience for the four of us. We’re all playing hard, and it’s made it possible for me to really focus on the solos and the singing,” said Mustaine, referring to Megadeth’s recent tour, which He even passed through Brazil.
