Greyson Nekrutman, Sepultura drummer, releases video for “Inner Self” in Buenos Aires

Drummer Greyson Nekrutman, who has been part of Sepultura since the first half of this year, released the drum cam for “Inner Self” on his YouTube channel. The video was recorded during the show that Sepultura performed on April 12th, at Teatro Flores, located in Buenos Aires, capital of Argentina.

Greyson Nekrutman was announced as Sepultura’s drummer in February 2024, after the group announced the departure of Eloy Casagrande.

“On February 6th, a few days before the first rehearsal (for the farewell tour), in an extraordinary meeting, drummer Eloy Casagrande informed the band and managers of his departure from Sepultura, to pursue a career in another project.

The band was taken by surprise, without prior notice or any kind of debate about how to make the transition. Communication was made and he immediately left the band, abandoning everything related to Sepultura.

Fortunately, the virtuoso American drummer Greyson Nekrutman will take over from Eloy Casagrande, and will be welcomed as a new member of the band on the Celebrating Life Through Death’ farewell tour”, says the statement published on Sepultura’s media.
