In the article published by EntertainmentWeekly about the new film, George Miller made a curious confirmation: the director said that we will be able to see Max Rockatansky at some point in Angryin a hidden cameo.

The writers know what happened to Mad Max that year, and we had a complete story for that, which I would like to work on at some point, if I get the chance.”
