In many cases, the films were recorded and released before these figures gained fame (which allows us to get a better idea of how their work evolved over time). Among the available options is Coherencea highly praised science fiction film that was left out of streaming catalogs for years.

In Third Star, from 2010, we can follow Benedich Cumberbatch at the beginning of his film career. As James, he invites a series of friends on a somewhat dangerous trip along the coast of Wales. Although it features suspense elements, the feature film also features lighter moments and some funny situations.

Finally, in Submerged (Sumergible) from 2020, Amazon Prime Video subscribers will find a more harrowing story. It follows the journey of a submarine crew made up of drug traffickers who end up lost in the middle of the ocean, with no sign that any kind of help is on the way.

In addition to new films, the streaming platform also has a rich selection of other suspense productions, including series. It also caters to those looking for lighter productions that don’t make those watching so tense — check out our selection of some of the new romance options that the service recently received.
