Runaway trailer hits 12 parked vehicles in MA. See video

On Saturday morning (4/27), a runaway trailer hit 11 cars and a motorcycle that were parked in front of the Pedrinhas Penitentiary Complex, on BR-135, in São Luís, capital of Maranhão. Despite the scare, no one was injured.

The trailer was transporting a batch of cement that fell onto some vehicles and onto the ground. People who were at the prison door recorded the moment of the accident (check below).

In the images, it is possible to see the heavy load vehicle invading the parking area, hitting the back of several cars, almost tipping over and only managing to stop after dropping part of the cement load on the parked cars.

What the PRF says

To the Metropolisesthe Federal Highway Police (PRF) explained that the driver of the truck had stopped in front of the Pedrinhas Penitentiary, at km 13 of BR-135, to unload cement, but, suddenly, the vehicle started moving alone and descend the slope in an uncontrolled manner.
