The police of Eunápolis, in the extreme south of Bahia, incinerated, last Wednesday (31), 670 kilos of marijuana, crack and cocaine. The drugs were seized in actions to combat drug trafficking.

In a statement, the police say that the material destroyed was the result of large operations carried out by the corporation in the municipality, which resulted in the arrest of several people involved in trafficking.

The 23rd Regional Coordination of the Interior Police (Coorpin/Eunápolis) is in charge of the incineration.

The incineration, according to the police, followed the procedures provided for in the legislation and was accompanied by the Municipal Health Surveillance and by a Justice Officer of the 2nd Criminal Court of the Judicial District of Eunápolis.
