The inmate, Erick Rubens Magalhães, 28, on the run since April 30, was captured on the afternoon of Tuesday (7), He and two other inmates escaped from the Ahmenon Lemos Dantas Penitentiary Complex, in Várzea Grande.
Military Police teams received information that the fugitive was living in the Figueirinha neighborhood, in Várzea Grande.
During the movement, the police located the man with the same characteristics as the detainee. When approached, the suspect confessed that he was on the run, a fact confirmed due to his outstanding arrest warrant.
He was arrested and taken to the police station for further processing. The other two suspects remain at large.
The case
