According to the AL, the 3.7% review applies to public servants in the Executive Branch, State Legislature, Public Prosecutor’s Office, Court of Auditors and Public Defender’s Office. The adjustment applies to active, inactive and retired employees of the respective staff to whom it was granted.
In the same session, deputies approved a Bill that applies the same index to readjust the monthly allowance of the governor, vice-governor and secretaries of State. Salaries are now R$31,216.71, R$19,978.69 and R$16,556.01, respectively.
The deputies also approved a Bill for the Conversion of Provisional Measure No. 08/2024, which deals with the functional developments of state Executive employees. The text seeks to amortize liabilities owed to the state’s civil and military public servants.
In provisional measure (MP) No. 11/2024, the percentage in the annual general review referring to the base date of May 2024 was granted to public servants in all public service categories. Measure 12/2024 amended laws from 2016 and 2019 and also granted an adjustment to commissioned employees.
The two MPs came into force with financial effects from Wednesday (1st), the Labor Day holiday.
