Detran-PB publishes a list of those selected from the Social Habilitation Program to open Renach; check out

The State Department of Traffic of Paraíba (Detran-PB) and the Secretariat of Human Development (Sedh), responsible for the Social Habilitation Program (PHS), released the list of candidates selected in the first call and who are able to open the Registry National Driver’s License (Renach) for free acquisition of the National Driving License (CNH). At this stage, 2,436 people from Paraíba were approved.

At the beginning of the process, 34,257 candidates were registered across the state. Of these, 5 thousand were selected and considered suitable because they met the income and priority target profile required by the notice. The lists are available on the website.

Starting this Thursday (9), selected candidates must schedule the opening of Renach on the Detran website, for face-to-face service at the nearest agency unit in their region, in order to deliver a copy of their personal document with photo and proof of residence.

After scheduling, you must go to Detran to take the online capture (photo and biometrics) and schedule the medical and psychotechnical exams. After that, the candidate will receive, via email, a referral letter to a Driver Training Center (driving school), to start the course.

Each candidate will choose which Ciretran or Detran station is at the time of scheduling. On the scheduled day, he must appear at the chosen location, with the necessary documentation, which is available on the PHS website.

Step by step: To issue the Social Habilitation Program (PHS) Renach, go to the Detran-PB website and make an appointment for in-person service. Access ‘Service Scheduling’, choose the type of service ‘Habilitation’ and select the service ‘PHS Service – Social Habilitation Program’.

Social Qualification

The program seeks to serve the low-income population and makes it possible, free of charge, to obtain the Authorization to Driving Mopeds (ACC) and the first National Driving License (CNH), in categories A or B, covering hypotheses of addition and changes of categories, in addition to renewing the qualification document.

According to the categories, 50% (2,500 places) were allocated to candidates for the first driver’s license, with 70% for category A (motorcycles), 10% ACC (mopeds) and 20% for category B (cars); 40% (2,000 places) for the possibility of adding and changing category, and 10% (500 places) for renewing the driver’s license.

The benefited candidate is exempt from fees relating to physical and mental aptitude exams; category addition; change of category; license to learn to drive a vehicle (LADV); permission to drive A or B; theoretical-technical and practical driving course; and driver’s license renewal. All Driver Training Centers (driving schools) accredited by Detran-PB are able to receive candidates classified in the PHS.

The vacancies made available by the program were distributed among candidates with low purchasing power and some groups had priority in this process.
