“There will be six months of earthworks before we can start work on the warehouse itself. The forecast is that all interventions will be completed by June next year”, explains Gabriel Paganini Checon, partner at Raizz Capital. There will be 200 direct jobs and 800 indirect jobs during the interventions.
The new venture expands Raizz’s presence in Santa Catarina. The developer’s first warehouse there, measuring 27,800 m², was opened in 2021. The company also has assets in Bahia (Vitória da Conquista), Espírito Santo (Viana), Minas Gerais (Belo Horizonte), Paraíba (Conde) , Mato Grosso (Cuiabá, Lucas do Rio Verde and Querência) and São Paulo (Arujá).
In Viana, Raizz, which is responsible for the Extrafruti warehouse, is setting up a logistics center with 80 thousand m² of gross leasable area, an investment of R$170 million. The first phase interventions are expected to be completed in June this year. “We have had good demand for Raizz’s new venture in Viana. We are already studying the implementation of the second phase of interventions, which should begin in the second half of this year”, says Guilherme Nunes, partner at the company.
