This afternoon, May 7, 2024, the Alagoana Photography Dossier Project was launched, which celebrates the visual sensitivity of professionals in the State. With a special edition financed by the Paulo Gustavo Alagoas Law, the project aims to highlight and value local photographers, bringing their trajectories and work to light.

Created by the Blog Aqui Acolá, the Dossier Fotografia Alagoana returns in style with two featured photographers: Jaque Lima and Lícia Moreira. For the first time, the new season of the project is presented in digital format, facilitating public access to the works and stories of these professionals.

Since its conception more than 5 years ago, the Dossier has stood out as a defender of the photographic scene in Alagoas, highlighting the plurality of professionals and addressing diverse topics, from history to local habits and traditions. The team behind the project, made up of journalists Iranei Barreto and Nicollas Serafim, together with publicist Joenne Mesquita, has the mission of honoring and highlighting the work of photographers from Alagoas.

Iranei Barreto, one of those responsible for the project, highlighted the importance of encouraging the Paulo Gustavo Alagoas Law, which allowed the resumption of activities, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, she announced that, for the first time, the project will have a physical book, representing a milestone in the trajectory of Dossier Fotografia Alagoana and bringing recognition to the work carried out.

The edition that highlights photographers Jaque Lima and Lícia Moreira is now available for access on the Aqui Acolá Blog. The project relies on the Paulo Gustavo Law, implemented by the Government of Alagoas through Secult, and reinforces the commitment to valuing and promoting photographic art in the state. This initiative becomes increasingly relevant to local culture and to the recognition of talents working in this area.
