WEAPONS AND DRUGS ARE SEIZED IN VILA VELHA

Military police officers from the Tactical Force of the 4th Battalion of PMES seized firearms and narcotic substances, in different actions that took place recently.

On Friday (03), during a motorized tactical patrol in Jaburuna, the team spotted individuals acting suspiciously, who, upon noticing the approach of the garrison, fled. After a thorough search, it resulted in the discovery of a large quantity of narcotics, including 564 marijuana bushings and 700 grams of the same substance.

Another action took place on Thursday (02), during a patrol the teams received precise information about a suspicious residence, which was being used as a drug distribution point in the Divino Espírito Santo neighborhood. In an effective action, the garrisons went to the indicated location and after due diligence, they managed to locate and seize a .40 caliber pistol, a .38 caliber revolver, chargers and ammunition as well as a significant quantity of narcotics such as marijuana and scale. In addition, two precision scales and packaging equipment were found.

The Commander of the 4th BPM, Lieutenant Colonel Marcos Tadeu Pimentel, praises the professionalism and dedication of the soldiers involved in these operations, who demonstrated their commitment to the fight against drug trafficking and promoting security in our community. The unit reaffirms its commitment to working tirelessly to ensure a safe and peaceful environment for all citizens.

All seized material presented to the 2nd Regional Police Station of Vila Velha for the appropriate legal measures.
