Ordinance was published today and, for Campo Grande, grants a guarantee of R$ 4.945 million
The Ministry of Health authorized R$ 24.244 million in resources for eight municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul to carry out construction works for UBS (Basic Health Units). The largest amount will be allocated to three cities, including Campo Grande, R$4,945,820.00.
The authorizing ordinance was published today in the Official Gazette of the Union, signed by the Minister of Health, Nísia Trindade Lima, and the resource is allocated through the New PAC (Growth Acceleration Program). It is up to the municipality whether to use the funds and when. At the beginning of this month, the Federal Government had already planned to allocate R$17 million to seven other cities: Caarapó, Chapadão do Sul, Coxim, Dourados, Iguatemi, Ponta Porã and Ribas.
For five municipalities, the use of R$ 1,881,388.00 each was authorized for the work: Amambai, Aparecida do Taboado, Ivinhema, Paranhos and Tacuru. For another three, the amount of R$4.945 million. In addition to Campo Grande, the cities of Três Lagoas and Costa Rica.
According to the ordinance, proposals will be processed in SISMOB (Fundo by Fund Works Monitoring System), available on the National Health Foundation portal. Resources will be sent through the respective municipal funds.
Accountability for the application of financial resources will be carried out through the RAG (Annual Management Report), approved by the respective local health council.
The report specifically contacted Campo Grande City Hall to find out if the resource will be requested and for which project and is awaiting feedback to update the text. In December 2022, the Executive inaugurated the USF (Family Health Unit) Dr. Nasri Siufi, in Jardim Presidente, work that was stopped for three years, from 2012 to 2015. The unit serves approximately 9 thousand residents of the region.
