MP denounces mother, son and brother-in-law for breaking into home, killing elderly people and leaving priest injured in MT and asks for husband’s release | Mato Grosso

Ines Gemilaki48 years old, Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz28 years old, mother and son, and the woman’s brother-in-law, Eder Gonçalves Rodrigues40 years old, were denounced by the Public Ministry of Mato Grosso for the death of two elderly people and the attempted murder against a priest during the invasion of a house in Peixoto de Azevedo, 692 km from Cuiabá, on April 21st.

The Public Ministry also asked the payment of more than approximately R$2 million in favor of family members of the victim Pilson Pereira da Cruz (R$ 1 million), Rui Luiz Bogo (R$ 700 thousand), José Roberto Domingos (R$ 150 thousand) and another person who was a victim of the attack.

Ines’ husband, Marcio Ferreira Gonçalvesalso arrested and indicted by the Civil Police on suspicion of participation in the crime, was outside the complaint. Prosecutor Alvaro Padilha de Oliveira, responsible for the action, stated that there is no evidence that he participated in the crime and asked for release.

“The Public Prosecutor’s Office no longer charges against him for committing qualified and attempted homicide, since, as demonstrated in the records, he was not present at the time of the execution; however, he provided support to those accused after the crimes committed, which would make it possible classify the conduct of the person under investigation as part of the crime article 348 of the Penal Code (facilitating or assisting the escape of the perpetrator of the crime)”, he says.

Now it is up to the Court to analyze the complaint and decide whether or not to accept the requests.

Ines, Bruno, Eder and Márcio have been arrested since April 23, two days after the crime.

Mother and son are suspected of killing elderly people

Images from two security cameras show that at least eight people were in the house when the woman entered shooting (watch above). The son went to the backyard and also fired shots. Ines, who appears in a blue blouse, had a pistol, and Bruno, in white, had a 12-gauge shotgun.

In another part of the video, mother and son appeared running away, carrying firearms.

For the police, who are still investigating the case, the suspicion is that the motivation for the crime is a commercial disagreement involving rent payments for the invaded house.
