The State Department of Transit of Ceará (Detran-CE) continues to intensify educational activities during the month of May, in reference to the Yellow May Movement. And, this weekend, it was the turn of the municipality of Camocim, 357 km from Fortaleza, to be treated to several activities carried out on the city’s waterfront to promote road safety.
On the occasion, traffic and transport agents from Detran-CE conducted the work, which involved recreational equipment related to traffic signs and other activities aimed at children.
There was also a workshop with glasses that simulate the loss of reflections and limitations of movement, which represents a risk for pedestrians and drivers when traveling on roads improperly, which could lead to accidents.
“Educational traffic actions, such as those carried out this weekend in Camocim, in a playful and interactive way, make up the Yellow Maio program, developed by Detran, with the purpose of promoting greater awareness among the population of Ceará about the importance of good practices and safe conduct to reduce accidents in our State”, highlights the director of Traffic Education at Detran-CE, Jorge Trindade.
