The organizing committee of the GO Criminal Police competition has already been hired and, therefore, the publication of the opening notice of the competition is imminent!

The information appears in this Monday’s edition, May 6, of the state’s Official Gazette. According to the publication, the IBFC (Brazilian Institute of Training and Qualification) will be responsible for carrying out the selection.

Will be offered 1,600 vacancies for criminal police officers in the state of Goiás. To compete for the position, the candidate must have higher level in any area and there is no age limit for entry.

Term of reference details notice

Direção Concursos accessed the Terms of Reference, with important information about the Police Penal GO competition.

According to the document, the expectation is that the event will register around 80 thousand registered candidates. Additionally, candidates are expected to be assessed through the following steps:

  • Objective and discursive evidence;
  • Medical evaluation;
  • Physical fitness test;
  • Psychological assessment; It is
  • Early life assessment.

It is important to mention that, according to the planned schedule, the expectation is that the opening notice for the event will be published in May. However, it is possible that this schedule will suffer delays, considering that the hiring of the organizing panel was scheduled to take place in March 2024.

The publication of the final result of the competition would be scheduled for March 2025.

Salaries for the GO Penal Police competition

It’s in progress salary adjustment proposal which, if approved, will directly impact those approved in the GO Penal Police competition.

The proposal foresees that the initial base salary for the position of criminal police officer, currently R$5,707.46, will be readjusted to R$5,971.14 in May 2024. In January 2025, the initial value would reach R$6,295, 38.

At the end of their career, in the Special class, the salary of a criminal police officer in the state of Goiás can reach R$15,475.74.

New notice for temporary workers

A new Simplified Selection Process notice was published this May 6th for the provision of 1,031 Temporary Prison Guards.

The salary of those approved in the selection will be R$ 1,450.46, in addition to food assistance in the amount of R$ 500.00. The working day will be 40 (forty) hours per week, preferably on-call.

Interested parties can register at the selection website from the government of Goiás, in the period between May 9 and 21, 2024. The registration fee is R$ 100.00.

The Simplified Selection Process will be carried out in a single stage, with an objective test, scheduled to take place in June 23, 2024.
